Patricia Jean (Golden) Lamoreaux, 83, of Lake Katrine

-

Patricia Jean (Golden) Lamoreaux, passed peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at the age of 83.

She was born in Fall River, Mass. on March 10, 1935, (one of 14 children) to parents, Henry and Margaret Golden.

On Feb. 11, 1956, she married her High School sweetheart, Richard Lamoreaux.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard Lamoreaux; her six children, Robin LaTorre (husband, Albert LaTorre), Kim Parrett (husband Douglas Parrett), Susan, Lisa, Erin, and Rebecca Lamoreaux; her five grandchildren (including two sets of twins), Mercedes LaTorre, Adriane (Parrett) Kelley (husband, Toby Kelley), Richard Parrett (wife, Danielle (Serrano) Parrett), and twins Ashley Parrett (father of first great grandchild, Darren Mima), Brittany Parrett (her love, Matthew Pleasant), Patrick and Miranda Swanson. They all loved and adored their “Momma”.

Pat was especially fond of her great-grandchildren, Alyvia Mima and Evryn Parrett. Richard and Danielle Parrett just announced that her third great-grandchild will be born Jan. 2019. She also had many, many nieces and nephews around the country.

If you knew Pat, you knew better than to call her during her, “Judge Judy”! She was jokingly referred to as “Rose Kennedy”, by her son-in-law Doug Parrett. Pat was a very talented artist, poet, and had a love for the beach. At age 50, she received her LPN with her best friend, Carol Crispino.

“Now is time to embrace her other family”, she said. The “Golden Girls” (her sisters), have made room for her and her sister/ travel companion, Mildred “Milly” Lanigan is waiting no more, “Thelma to her Louise”. The love she had for her friends/family will live forever in the memories she left in our hearts. She was a very compassionate woman with a heart of “gold” (as her beloved husband always called her).

The family would like to sincerely thank all of the friends, family, and loved ones for all of their love and support. A special thank you to Courtney Powell and Toni Anne

Riozzi from Hospice, Joan Coleman, Shannon Rafferty, Marjorie Knox, Pat’s niece, Michelle Williams, the entire Hidden Harbor Yacht Club family, and Luke Keyser. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all! Whenever you said goodbye to her, she would always say, “I love you more” and her family would respond back, “Impossible”.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, N.Y. 12466, where family and friends may visit on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ulster County SPCA at www.
