The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system.

• DWI: Craig N. Royal, 49, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, on Franklin Street and was charged with drunken driving, driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, and aggravated unlicensed driving, all felonies; circumvent­ing a court-ordered ignition interlock device and possession of noxious material, both misdemeano­rs; and with having an open container of alcohol, a violation, and a turn signal violation. Royal was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail pending a court appearance.

• DWI: Lyman B. Townsend, 59, of Cooperstow­n, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, on state Route 32 in the town and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, both misdemeano­rs. Townsend was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.

• DWI: Jason Kocciusko, 39, of Leeds, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, on U.S. Route 9W in the town and was charged with felony drunken driving, a felony; and possession of marijuana, a violation. Kocciusko was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail pending a court appearance.

• Drugs/endangerin­g:

Raymond F. Saunders, 27, address unavailabl­e, was arrested by the Greene County District Attorney’s Office in conjunctio­n with the Sheriff’s Office and state police and Catskill Village police on an indictment and was charged with three felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance (heroin) and three felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled

substance (narcotic) with intent to sell, and with one misdemeano­r count of endangerin­g the welfare of a child. Saunders was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Hurley

• DWI: Robert M. Stokes, 20, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:02 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Hurley Mountain and Dug Hill roads and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, both misdemeano­rs, and was ticketed for unsafe tires, failure to keep right and crossing road hazard markings. Stokes was released with appearance tickets for Hurley Town Court.

Plattekill

• Criminal mischief: Jonathan Logiudice, 33, of Wallkill, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 1:10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, in the hamlet of Wallkill and was charged with criminal mischief, a misdemeano­r, and harassment, a violation. Logiudice was released with appearance tickets for Plattekill Town Court.

Tannersvil­le

• Drugs: Raymond F. Saunders, 27, of Haines Falls, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, on Park Lane, and was charged with criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic), both felonies. Saunders was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail pending a court appearance.

• Drugs: Jami S. Saunders, 31, of Tannersvil­le, was arrested by state police at Hunter at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, on Park Lane, and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance , a misdemeano­r. Saunders was released with appearance tickets for Tannersvil­le Village Court.
