KINGSTON » Russell A. Frost, 60, of Kingston, N.Y., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Oct. 23, 1957, in Flushing, Queens, the son of the late Robert and Isabel Frost. Russell was married to Christine Murphy-Frost.

Russell had many interests. He loved golfing, photograph­y, jazz music, woodworkin­g, and especially cooking. He mastered the art of barbecue and was especially proud of his “beer can chicken.” He recently competed in and won the adult Pine Wood Derby competitio­n at Keegan Ales. He delighted his friends with his wry sense of humor and good cheer. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, friends, and his cat, Bella. He and his wife, Christine, cherished their annual vacations in Maine, where they enjoyed the local seafood and the wild coast. Russell had worked for Dyno Nobel for 19 years and later at Rotron in Woodstock for over 10 years.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Murphy-Frost; his brother, Keith Frost and his wife Pamela; his nephews, Jefferson Frost and his companion Laura Sperry, and Julian Frost; his mother-in-law, Pat Murphy; and his brotherin-law, Edward Murphy; as well as many cousins and dear friends.

Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston.
