Man dies in 2-vehicle crash

A two vehicle crash on state Route 52 and Holiday Park Road in the Town of Montgomery Saturday morning resulted in the death of one of the drivers.

Town of Montgomery Police said the vehicles — a four-door sedan and a school bus — collided head on resulting in the male driver of the car becoming trapped. He was taken to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh where he was pronounced dead.

There were no passengers on the bus and no report of any injuries to the female driver.

The case is currently under investigation by Town of Montgomery Police.
