ROSENDALE » Elthera H. Christian, 88, of Rosendale, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2018, at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus.

Born Feb. 25, 1930 in Saugerties, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Depuy) Hults.

Elthera was employed as a school bus driver. Previously she was employed as a Home Health aide and as a seamstress in the local area and in Florida, N.Y., garment industry. She enjoyed family camping trips, walking, crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles, and most of all family time.

Surviving are her children,

Dorothy E. Boice and her husband Harry of Kingston, Shirley Bonestell and her husband Gary of Cairo, Diane MacCreery and her husband Mike of the Town of Marbletown, Kenneth W. Christian and his wife Wendy of Marion, North Carolina; her sisters, Dorothy H. Daley and Mary H. Lewis; two half-brothers, Fred and Leonard; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also

survive.

Her daughter Lucinda May Attanasio; siblings, June Daley, Harold Hults, and Oliver Hults; and former husband, Kenneth A. Christian, all died previously.
