Kingston rolls past Warwick
WARWICK, N.Y. » Eleanora Meyer won a pair of individual events to lead Kingston High to a 10473 Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association girls swim victory over Warwick on Monday.
Meyer captured the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.89) and 500 freestyle (5:53.35) before teaming with Mallory Sullivan, Isabella Amaro and Parker Ball to claim the 200 free relay in 1:51.38. Amaro, meanwhile, captured the 100 free (1:00.14) and teamed with Emily Constance, Abigail Mitchell and Jeanine Ohene Agyei to win the 200 medley relay in 2:05.12.
Other individual winners for the (3-2) Tigers were Sullivan in the 200 individual medley (2:31.99), Sabrina Browning in diving (200.55 points) and Angelina Vertullo in the 100 butterfly (1:11.04). Kingston swept the top-3
places in three events before swimming exhibition in the final three events.
Aislinn Mohyla (27.55 in 50 free), Stefanie Sommer (1:11.91 in 100 backstroke) and Ana Finucane (1:21.05) were individual winners for the (0-3) Wildcarts.
