SCHOHARIE, N.Y. >> One of the two pedestrians killed in the Saturday limousine crash that claimed 20 lives was from Ulster County, according to state police.
They identified him as James Schnurr, 70, of Kerhonkson.
The Associated Press, quoting relatives, said Schnurr and his sonin-law, 46-year-old Brian Hough, were standing in the parking lot of the Apple Barrel County Store at the junction of Route 30 and 30A in Schoharie when a limousine sped through a stop sign at the intersection and struck them, killing both. The limo crashed seconds later, killing all 17 passengers and the driver.
The small-business website manta.com lists includes a listing for a Kerhonkson carpenter named James Schnurr, but the phone number provided for the carpentry business has been dis-
