Library offers class on making clocks out of books

WHAT: Class on making book clocks

WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 20, at 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: East Fishkill Community Library, 348 Route 376, Hopewell Junction

DETAILS: The library will offer a free class on making a book clock. Do you have lots of old books? Make one into a unique time piece. There will be donated books available. Books should be at least 225 pages in length so it is thick enough to hide the battery compartmen­t. All supplies will be provided, but, if you have a utility knife, please bring it. Registrati­on is required and the class is limited to 10 participan­ts.
