Judith Claire Borchert, 79, of Rock Hill Road, passed peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family. Born Sept. 1, 1939, in Plymouth, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Iona Prochaska.

Jude worked for over 20 years and retired from Kingston Hospital’s business office. After she retired, she continued to work for Benedictin­e Hospital part-time. Her passions were to travel, visit the casinos, and crochet. She was devoted to her children, grandchild­ren, and great-grandchild.

Survivors include her husband, Eric William Borchert; two sons, Eric Jason Borchert of Hurley and Thomas Jeffrey Borchert and his wife Evelyn of High Falls; six grandchild­ren, Tyler, Joshua, Daniela, Morgan, Kirstin, and Sophia; one greatgrand­child, Mason; four sisters, Elizabeth, Carol, Johanna, and Claire; and two brothers, Thomas and David.

Predecease­d include sister Charlene and brother Joseph.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, N.Y. 12401, where family and friends may visit on Sunday, Oct. 14, from noon to 2 p.m., with a time of sharing beginning at 2 p.m.
