Mitchell wins twice in Kingston victory

KINGSTON, N.Y. >> Kingston High’s girls swimming and diving team bounced back from last week’s loss to Pine Bush by scoring an 8941 win over John S. Burke Catholic on Tuesday.

Alexandra Mitchell led the Tigers with wins in the distance freestyle races, doing 2:10 in the 200-yard and 5:43.90 in the 500.

Also winning individual events for Kingston were Jeanine Ohene Agyei (200 individual medley), Mackenzie Quinn (50-free), Isabella Amaro (butterfly) and Eleanora Meyer (100free).

Kingston, which evened its record at 4-4, closes out the regular season with two more meets this week.
