Born March 31, 1961, in Oneonta, she was the daughter of Thomas and Elda Zulick. She was the Salutatorian of Saugerties High School class of 1979. Becky then graduated from her father’s alma mater, Hartwick College, and pursued advanced education in mathematics and computer science through a much-coveted Fulbright scholarship in Vienna, Austria. She received an MBA from Union College and a teaching certificate as well.
Becky’s career was vast and varied. She worked at IBM, in secondary math education, and wine importation. For the past nine years, Becky was the practice manager of Advantage Orthopedics. She was an avid, life long endurance athlete, completing many national and International marathons, including Boston and the Disney Dopey Challenge. She also finished three 70.3 Ironman races. She was a world traveler, wine connoisseur, accomplished flutist, and animal advocate. Becky made friends easily and everywhere she went. She maintained many of these friendships throughout her life and brought people from different areas of her life together.
Becky was a champion for her family with a deep love, always putting them first. Her constant companion and love was her black lab, Bopsie, who was ever present at the office, putting patients and family at ease with her gentle, kind spirit.
