City of Kingston

• Drugs: Carlos Andino Lopez, 30, of Main Street, Ellenville, and Ina J. Jennings, 25, of state Route 52, Greenfield Park, were arrested by members of the Kingston police Special Investigat­ions Unit on Monday, Oct. 29, following a “buy and bust” operation in conjunctio­n with the Ulster police and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office that yielded “a substantia­l amount” of heroin. Andino-Lopez was charged with the felonies of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance (two counts). Jennings was charged with misdemeano­r criminal possession of a controlled substance. Andino Lopez was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. Jennings was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.

Red Hook

• DWI: Janna L. Mcvey Kelly, 60 of Tivoli, was arrested by Red Hook police at 10:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, on River Road in the town of Red Hook and was charged with two counts of drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. She was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.

Rhinebeck

• Grand larceny: Jenna A. Masotti, 33, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the state police barracks, 5696 U.S. Route 9, in the town of Rhinebeck and was charged with grand larceny (credit card), a felony. Masotti was released with a ticket for Rhinebeck Town Court.

Saugerties

• Grand larceny: Robert Delgado, 52, of 12 South Partition St., Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police on Wednesday, Oct. 31, in connection with a Sept. 25 incident at Peak Trading, 1 Tomson Road, in the town of Saugerties, and was charged with grand larceny, a felony. The arrest followed an investigat­ion into a complaint from Peak Trading concerning a possible employee theft issue uncovered during an inventory count, which resulted in the discovery of two dozen missing chain saw sharpeners and carbide cutters valued at $1,500. The stolen merchandis­e was allegedly posted for sale on eBay. Police said Delgado, an employee of Peak Trading, admitted stealing the merchandis­e over the course of several months and posting it for sale on eBay. Delgado was released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
