The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
City of Kingston
• DWAI-drugs: Shane E. Beesimer, 26, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, on Hurley Avenue, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and the infractions of moving from lane unsafely and failure to keep right. Beesimer was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
• Drugs: Tiffany Fernandez, 27, of Fishkill, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, on Hurley Avenue, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Fernandez was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
• DWI: Sheila A. David, 60, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, on County Route 23B and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. David was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Gardiner
• Drugs: Roger K. Peachey, 26, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Highland at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, on state Route 32 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving, both misdemeanors, and with having a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation. Further information was unavailable.
Town of Rochester
• Drugs: Joelle M. DeVincentis, 35, of Rochester, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, on U.S. Route 209 in the town and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with possession of marijuana and having a controlled substance in a non-original container, both violations. DeVincentis was released with tickets for Rochester Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• Drugs: Aaron J. Fluegel, 36, of Milan, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 7:36 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, on state Route 32 in the town and was charged with possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed driving, both misdemeanors. Deputies stopped Fluegel for an alleged traffic infraction and found he was driving with a suspended license and possessed marijuana. He was released
with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
• Obstruction of breathing/endangering: Dean M. Tubbs, 39, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:13 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, on state Route 28 in the town and was charged with obstruction of breathing, acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17 and assault, all misdemeanors. Tubbs was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail pending a court appearance.
