Red Hook
• DWI: Damon A. Tuckruskye, 24, of Red Hook, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 8:05 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, on East Kerley Corners Road in the town of Red Hook and was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and the infractions of moving from lane unsafely and crossing road hazard markings. Tuckruskye was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.
Saugerties
• Obstruction of breathing: Nathan C. Wakefield, 29, of 2589 Center Road, Novato, Calif., was arrested by Saugerties police at 1:18 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Diamond Mills Hotel, 25 South Partition St., village of Saugerties, and was charged with obstruction of breathing and blood circulation and attempted assault, both misdemeanors. The arrest followed a report of a woman screaming. Police said the victim suffered a laceration to her mouth and was treated at the scene. Wakefield was released by Saugerties Village Court after posting bail. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim, police said.
Wawarsing
• Assault: Raymell Poole, 30, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 10:48 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Eastern Correctional Facility in Wawarsing and was charged with felony assault. Poole, who is serving a 27-year sentence for manslaughter, remains at the Eastern Correctional Facility. Further information was unavailable.
