Barbara Howard of Albany cheers Tuesday night at the Senate Garage in Uptown Kingston, where Democrats gathered to watch election results. The crowd had plenty to celebrate, including victories by Democrats Antonio Delgado in New York’s 19th Congressional District and Juan Figueora in the Ulster County Sheriff’s race, as well as Democrats winning control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
