City of Kingston

• DWI: Scott. E Barnes, 48, of High Falls, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, on Broadway on charges of aggravated drunken driving (prior offense), a felony, and drunken driving, a misdemeano­r. Barnes was released with an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.

Catskill

• DWI: Linsey A. Miller, 24, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 3 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, on Main Street on misdemeano­r charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Miller was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Village Court.

Coxsackie

• Drugs: Matthew B. Vitolo, 28, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on U.S. Route 9W North at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Vitolo was released with an appearance ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.

• Weapon: Willie J. Johnson, 29, of Texas City, Texas, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Stewart’s Shop at U.S. Route 9W and state Route 81 on charges of criminal possession of a loaded weapon, a felony, and possession of a large-capacity ammunition feed device, a misdemeano­r. Johnson was released pending a court appearance.

Durham

• Drugs: Joseph H. Lennon, 31, of East Hampton, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:02 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, on state Route 145 on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Lennon was released with an appearance ticket for Durham Town Court.

Livingston

• Drugs: Carlos D. Quist, 19, and Wallace A. Powell, 45, both of Philmont, were arrested by state police at Claverack on U.S. Route 9 at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. Quist was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, all misdemeano­rs, and with unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Powell was charged with two misdemeano­r counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful marijuana possession, both violations. Quist was held pending arraignmen­t. Powell’s status was unavailabl­e.

Lloyd

• DWAI-drugs: Mariah A. Velez, 28, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Highland on U.S. Route 9W at 12:05 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, on a misdemeano­r charge of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Velez was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

Saugerties

• Endangerin­g: Michael G.

Fitzgerald, 22, of Saugerties, was arrested by the Saugerties Police Department Friday, Nov. 9, following an investigat­ion into a verbal domestic dispute at his home on Partition Street, and was charged with endangerin­g the welfare of a child, a misdemeano­r. Fitzgerald was released with a ticket to appear in Saugerties Village Court on Nov. 19. • Endangerin­g/assault: Lauren Camarata, 18, of Saugerties, was arrested by the Saugerties Police Department on Friday, Nov. 9, on misdemeano­r charges of endangerin­g the welfare of a child and attempted assault following a reported domestic dispute between sisters at a Glasco home. Police said Camerata engaged in a domestic dispute with her sister, who was not identified, threw a cooking pot that missed her sister and struck the arm of a 4-year-old child who was present during the dispute. Camarata was arraigned in Saugerties Town Court and released upon the court issuing an order of protection on behalf of her sister and the child.

Town of Ulster

• Drugs: Kurt B. Jenkins, 34, of High Falls, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, on Washington Avenue and was charged with three misdemeano­r counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Jenkins was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.

Wawarsing

• Drugs: Bryan Retcho, 20, of Pine Bush, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:20 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, on state Route 52 East on a misdemeano­r charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Retcho was also charged with unlawful marijuana possession and having a controlled substance in a non-original container, both violations. Retcho was released with an appearance ticket for Warwarsing Town Court.
