Catskill

· Endangerin­g/assault: Kewan L. Prather, 27, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 178 Main St. in the village and charged with the misdemeano­rs of endangerin­g the welfare of a child and assault. Prather was released with tickets for Catskill Village Court.

· Menacing with weapon:

Patrick J. Maurer, 20, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at 495 Main St. in the village and charged with the misdemeano­r of menacing with a weapon and the violation of disorderly conduct. Maurer was released with tickets for Catskill Village Court.

· Conceal, alter or destroy evidence/drugs:

Ethan Wayne Turner, 28, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 12:17 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at 422 Main St. in the village and charged with the felony of conceal, alter, destroy physical evidence and the misdemeano­r of possession of a controlled substance. Turner was jailed in lieu of $2,500. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Esopus

· Aggravated family offense: David J. Smith, 38, of Ulster Park, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, and charged with the felony of aggravated family offense and the misdemeano­r of criminal mischief. Smith was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Gardiner

·DWI: Brian D. Silverstei­n, 25, of New Paltz, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies just before 3 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, on state Route 299 and charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent and with drunken driving, along with vehicle and traffic violations. Silverstei­n was released with tickets for Gardiner Town Court.

New Paltz

·Drugs: Kaylee E. Emmons, 20, of Walden, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, on state Route 32 in the town and charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance and the violation of controlled substance in a non-original container. Emmons was released with a ticket for New Paltz Town Court.

· Drugs: Daequan I. Roberts, 23, of New York City, Mauvonte I. Roberts, 23, of Middle River, Maryland, and an 18-year-old were arrested by state police at about 4:10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, on the New York State Thruway in the town after a traffic stop for a vehicle and traffic violation. Daequan Roberts, who was driving the vehicle, was charged with vehicle and traffic violations. All three subjects were charged with the felonies of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance, the misdemeano­r of possession of a controlled substance and the violation of possession of marijuana. Police said about 4.6 grams of crack cocaine, multiple glassine envelopes containing about 1.3 grams of heroin, about 5.8 grams of K2 and about 1 gram of marijuana were in the vehicle. Daequan Roberts was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail. Mauvonte Roberts was jailed in lieu of $1,500 bail and the 18-yearold was jailed in lieu of $1,000 bail.

Rosendale/New Paltz

· Grand larceny: Daryl M. Treadwell, 34, of New Paltz, was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 10, by Rosendale and New Paltz police in connection with a bicycle reported stolen on Thursday, Nov. 8, from Table Rock Tours in Rosendale. New Paltz police received a call reporting a suspicious individual believed to be riding a bicycle that had been reported stolen. Treadwell was found to be in possession of the bicycle and also to have allegedly have stolen it from Table Rock Tours, authoritie­s said. The bicycle is valued at $8,400 and was recovered. Treadwell was charged by Rosendale police with the felony of grand larceny and by New Paltz police with the misdemeano­r of possession of stolen property. He was arraigned in Rosendale Town Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Saugerties

· Drugs: Hairo P. Oquendo, 28, of the Wenton Motel, 3127 U.S. Route 9W, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 7:07 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, on Commons Lane and charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance and the violation of possession of marijuana. Authoritie­s said Oquendo allegedly attempted to gain access to a clubhouse bathroom at the Commons Townhouse Complex, prompting five females in the clubhouse to call police, who located Oquendo. They added he was allegedly in possession of a crack cocaine pipe and a baggy containing marijuana. Oquendo was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

Lloyd

·DWI: Erkan Deniz, 33, of New Paltz, was arrested by Lloyd police at about midnight, Sunday, Nov. 11, while blocking a driveway on Tillson Avenue, and charged with the felony of aggravated drunken driving (a violation of Leandra’s Law), the felonies of driving while ability impaired by drugs and aggravated unlicensed driving, and with the misdemeano­rs of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument and endangerin­g the welfare of a child, along with the violation of possession of marijuana. Authoritie­s said Deniz was allegedly found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle while it was running with his 11-month-old child in the back seat of the car without a proper child restraint. Deniz was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. The child was turned over to Ulster County Child Protective Services.

· DWI/DWAI-drugs: Kendra L. Cambria, 68, of Fishkill, was arrested by Lloyd police on Thursday, Nov. 8, in the post office parking lot on North Road and charged with the misdemeano­rs of drunken driving and driving while ability impaired by drugs. She was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

· Drugs: Christian W. Trunchali, 45, of Plattekill, was arrested by Lloyd police on Saturday, Nov. 10, after a traffic stop on Chapel Hill Road for traffic violations and was charged with the misdemeano­rs of possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving. Trunchali was arrested again on Tuesday, Nov. 13, on a New York state violation warrant and additional­ly charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, authoritie­s said. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

· DWAI-drugs: Joseph T. Riley-Scotto, 20, of Wallkill, was arrested by Lloyd police on Wednesday, Nov. 7, on state Route 299, and

charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving while ability impaired by drugs and possession of a controlled substance, and the violation of possession of marijuana, along with traffic violations. Riley-Scotto was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

Town of Ulster

·DWI: Tanya L. Cutaia, 46, of Accord, was arrested by town of Ulster police on Sunday, Nov. 11, at about 3 p.m. and charged with the felony of aggravated drunken driving, the misdemeano­r of aggravated unlicensed driving and the infraction of crossing road hazard markings. The arrest followed officers’ response to an Ulster 911 report of a Chrysler minivan stuck in a ditch with extensive damage. Cutaia was found to be intoxicate­d. She was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

·DWI: Nancyrose Brennan, 24, of Hurley, was arrested by town of Ulster police on Sunday, Nov. 11, at about 10 p.m. on U.S. Route 209 and charged with the misdemeano­rs of drunken driving and aggravated unlicensed driving, and the infraction of speeding. Her arrest followed a complaint from a business of an intoxicate­d person leaving the establishm­ent and traveling south on Route 209 in the area of Sawkill Road. Brennan was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
