Darlene Wells McDougal, 75, of Kingston died, Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilita­tion Center. She was formerly of Chambers Drive

Born in Fort FairField, Maine; she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Irene Michaud McDougal. Darlene was employed in the restaurant at Britts and a waitress at Michael’s Diner, Stadium Diner, and Ground Round restaurant. She was an avid Bowler, and the former treasurer of the “Earlyettes” women’s Bowling League. For many years “McDougal’s Pub” sponsored softball teams in the Town of Ulster.

Darlene is survived by three children, Don Wells and his wife June of Lomotville, Darren Wells and his wife Kristi of Sawkill, Deb Wells of Saugerties, and five grandchild­ren, Zachary, Dakotah, Hunter, Kaeden, and Charlotte Wells.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was predecease­d by her brother, Ralph McDougal.

Darlene will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow in Hurley Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Rd., Kingston, N.Y., 12401.
