Senior Citizen Holiday Dinner on Dec. 8
WHAT: Senior Citizen Holiday Dinner
WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 8, with sittings at 11:30a.m. and 1p.m.
WHERE: John A. Coleman Catholic High School, 430 Hurley Ave., town of Ulster
DETAILS: The Kiwanis Clubs of Ulster and Kingston will sponsor their annual holiday dinner. Admission is free. All seniors are welcome. Due to limited seating (300at each meal), those planning to attend are asked to make reservations as soon as possible. Bus transportation could be available. Transportation arrangements must be made when making reservations.

Gilded Age Christmas starts Nov. 23 at Staatsburgh
WHAT: A Gilded Age Christmas WHEN: Tours Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 4p.m. from Friday, Nov. 23, through Sunday, Dec. 30, with additional touring hours Friday, Dec. 21, from 6to 8p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Dec. 31, from noon to 4p.m.
WHERE: Staatsburgh State Historic Site, 75Mills Mansion Drive, Road 1, Staatsburg
DETAILS: Staatsburgh, the mansion of Ogden Mills and his wife, Ruth Livingston Mills, will be decorated in turn-of-the-century style for the holidays. Admission is $8 for adults and $6for seniors. Children ages 12and younger are free.
