Library hosts Homemade Holiday Craft Fair
WHAT: Homemade Holiday Craft Fair WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 24, from 1 to 5 p.m. WHERE: Community Room of Pine Plains Free Library, 7775 South Main St., Pine Plains
DETAILS: The fair features local vendors offering knit items, baked goods, jewelry, soap and more. There will also be live music, psychic readings and children’s activities.

Holiday Open House on Dec. 1, 2
WHAT: Holiday Open House WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and
Sunday, Dec. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m.
WHERE: Palatine Parsonage, 52 Maple Ave. Germantown
DETAILS: The Germantown Garden Club will host its annual Holiday Open House. The show will feature winter container plants. Houseplants from members will be on display, along with information about how to grow and take care of them. There will also be great ideas about what plants would be suitable to give as presents for the holidays. In addition, there will be a bake sale of homemade treats. Hand-decorated, one-ofa-kind, fresh wreaths and table arrangements made by garden club members will be for sale as well. There will be a boutique sale, along with raffles of speciality baskets.
