Kingston Lanes sweeps way to Middle D title

Patel’s Kingston Lanes/Beer World swept Everett Motors in two games to take the Kingston Recreation League men’s softball Middle D Division crown.

With Kingston Lanes already up 6-2, a 10-spot in the fifth helped seal a 16-4 win in the decisive second game.

Pat Massa homered and drove in three runs, Rob Dexter homered and had two RBIs and Charlie Berry doubled and had two RBI two for Patel’s.

Rob Dexter homered and knocked in four runs to power Patel’s over Everett in game one.

Already leading 4-2, Patel’s scored a run in the fourth and fifth to help clinch the victory.

Pat Massa added a triple and Pat Lyons doubled for Patel’s.

Len Van Dyke Homered and drove in two runs and Chris Langjan hit a home run to for Everett.
