Cairo
• Drugs: Tyler J. Weaver, 20, of Earlton, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday and was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies. He was held pending a court appearance.
Germantown
• Criminal Contempt: Patrick Orendack, 52, of Germantown, was arrested on a warrant at 6:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, and was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. Orendack is accused of violating an order of protection issued by Columbia County Court, deputies said. He was arraigned in Stockport Town Court and released pending a court appearance.
Red Hook
• DWI: Daniel E. Zunich, 30, of Rhinebeck, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, on South Broadway in Red Hook and was charged with two counts of drunken driving, both misdemeanors, according to the Red Hook Police Department. He was issued court appearance tickets and released, police said.
• Strangulation: Joseph R. Daprile, 31, of Saugerties, was arrested at 10:18 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, and was charged with strangulation, a felony, as well as assault, unlawful imprisonment, and criminal contempt, all misdemeanors, according to the Red Hook Police Department. Police were notified of a domestic dispute that had taken place at a residence of Metzger Road in Red Hook and upon investigation arrested Daprile, police said. Daprile was arraigned in Red Hook Town Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail pending a court appearance.
Town of Ulster
• Lewdness: Voner C. Bridges, 61, of Mount Vernon, was arrested by state police at Ulster on charges of lewdness (exposing body in public) along with exposure of a person and disorderly conduct (creating a hazardous condition), both violations, at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at Exit 19 of the New York State Thruway. Further information was unavailable.
