Peformance of ‘A Christmas Carol’ on Dec. 9
WHAT: “A Christmas Carol” WHEN: Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: Arts Center Theatre on the campus of Columbia-Greene Community College, 4400 state Route 23, Greenport
DETAILS: Join Scrooge, Tiny Tim, the ghosts of Christmas and carolers for an afternoon of song and laughter. The college will host Theatre on the Road’s version of the show. In this production, actors and carolers bring scenes from “A Christmas Carol” to life as they interact with the audience. A reception will be held after the performance. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, students and children.

Woodstock Playhouse hosts concert
WHAT: Winter Solstice Concert
WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 15, at 8 p.m.
WHERE: Woodstock Playhouse, 103 Mill Hill Road, Woodstock
DETAILS: Byrdcliffe will present its Winter Solstice Concert. The concert features favorite musicians singing holiday and American classics. This year’s lineup includes Cindy Cashdollar, Zach Djanikian, Amy Helm and others. Proceeds will support Byrdcliffe’s work as a center for the arts. Tickets are $67, $47 and $27, plus a $3 handling charge.
