City of Kingston
• Endangering: Elizabeth Robinson, 43, of Elmendorf Street, Kingston was arrested at 4:35 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, on misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breathing. Kingston police said Robinson allegedly punched and choked a 13-year-old child during a dispute at her residence. She was arraigned in Kingston City Court and released on her own recognizance.
• DWI: William H. Bourdon, 23, of Hurley was arrested at 12:37 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, on Broadway by state police at Ulster on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving and the infractions of imprudent speed, moved from lane unsafely, and a windshield tint violation. He was released on tickets to appear in Kingston City Court.
Town of Ulster
• Drugs: Daryl T. Hommel, 51, of Lake Katrine was arrested at 4:41 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving. Ulster town police said Hommel was involved in a property damage automobile crash on Ulster Avenue near Leggs Mill Road. An investigation into the crash showed Hommel had a “Schedule II” controlled substance without a valid prescription and that his driver’s license was suspended, police said. He was released on tickets to appear in Ulster Town Court.
• DWI: Lucas X. May, 24, of Kingston was arrested at 4:44 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, on misdemeanor charges of aggravated drunken driving and drunken driving, as well as the infraction of moved from lane unsafely. Ulster town police said May was arrested following a traffic stop that occurred after the vehicle he was driving was seen swerving in its lane of travel on Col. Chandler Drive. He was released on tickets to appear in Ulster Town Court.
Albany
• Drugs: Cody A. Tompkins, 27, of Saugerties was arrested at 10:05 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, on the state Thruway by state Thruway police at Albany on two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of possession of a weapon and one violation count of possession of marijuana. He was released on tickets to appear in Albany City Court.
Catskill
• Robbery: Jose C. Gofmanas, 19, of Selkirk was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, by Catskill village police on a felony charge of robbery. He was arraigned in Catskill Village Court and sent to county jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Additional information was not provided.
• Falsely reporting: Salvatore Puma Jr., 35, of Catskill was arrested at 11:01 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, by Catskill village police on a misdemeanor charge of falsely reporting an incident. He was released on a ticket to appear in Catskill Village Court.
• Drugs: Wendy Hines, 46, of Hudson was arrested at 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, by Catskill village police on a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was released on a ticket to appear in Catskill Village Court.
Gardiner
• DWI: James H. Wilk, 26, of Gardiner was arrested at 5:22 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 by state police at Highland on misdemeanor charges of aggravated drunken driving and drunken driving, as well as the infraction of possession of marijuana. He was released on tickets to appear in Gardiner Town Court.
Greenport
• DWI: Mariusz K. Witka, 29, of Catskill was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, on state Route 9G by state police at Claverack on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released on a ticket to appear in Greenport Town Court.
Livingston
• DWI: Kevin W. Jornov, 30, of Niverville was arrested at 3:24 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, on county Route 10 by state police at Claverack on misdemeanor charges of aggravated drunken driving and drunken driving, as well as the infractions of imprudent speed and moved from lane unsafely. He was released on tickets to appear in Livingston Town Court.
