• Drugs: Mary E. Capozzi, 23, of Wappinger, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:46 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon (firearm), both misdemeanors. She was issued a court appearance ticket.
New Paltz
• Drugs: Henry E. Gonzales, 20, of New Rochelle, was arrested by state police at Highland at 8:47 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, on Tractor Avenue and was charged with criminal possession of marijuana,
a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Gonzales was issued a court appearance ticket.
• DWI: Nicholas A. Buchheit, 35, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:40 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, on Main Street in the village and was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense), a misdemeanor. He was
issued a court appearance ticket.
• DWI: Ryan N. Branagan, 23, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, on state Route 299 and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent (previous conviction within 10 years), both felonies. • Drugs: Michael A. Vasile, 44, of Otisville, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:36 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, on state Route 28 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Vasile was issued a court appearance ticket.

• DWI: Heather A. Gabriel, 47, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, on state Route 28, and was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was issued a court appearance ticket.
