Town of Ulster

• Resisting arrest: Barbara A. Henning, 54, of Kingston was arrested at 12:46 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, on a misdemeano­r charge of resisting arrest and a violation charge of trespass. Ulster town police said Henning was arrested following a trespass complaint from a business on state Route 28. Henning remained on the property after being asked to leave by the manager, police said. Police said when Henning refused to leave, the manager called for officers to have her removed. When the officers arrived, Henning again refused to leave the property and when she was told she was being arrested on the trespass charge, she refused to be handcuffed and resisted efforts by the officers to place her in handcuffs, police said. Police said Henning was taken into custody following a brief scuffle. No one was injured, police said. Henning was released on tickets to appear in Ulster Town Court.

Hurley

• Grand larceny: Desire Rivera, 30, of Grahamsvil­le was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Monday, July 8, by state police at Ulster on two counts of felony grand larceny. She was released on tickets to appear in court. Additional informatio­n was not immediatel­y available.

Milan

• Marijuana: Joseph Madera, 36, of Catskill was arrested at 11:07 p.m. Monday, July 8, on the Taconic State Parkway by state police at Rhinebeck on two misdemeano­r counts of possession of marijuana. He was released on tickets to appear in Milan Town Court.

Saugerties

• Contempt: James S. Cintron, 41, of 106 West Chestnut St., Kingston, and Jessica A. Cintron, 36, of 3127 U.S. Route 9W, the Wenton Motel, Saugerties were arrested Monday, July 8, and each charged with misdemeano­r criminal contempt. Saugerties police said officers assisted Ulster County Child Protective Services with a welfare check at the Wenton Motel. The welfare check resulted in the discovery of James Cintron at the residence, which was in violation of a full stayaway order of protection put in place by Ulster County Family Court, police said. James Cintron was charged with violating the order, while Jessica Cintron was charged with facilitati­ng the violation of the order, police said. Both were arraigned in Saugerties Town Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500 bail each.

• DWI: An 18-year-old Saugerties male was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Monday, July 8, on state Route 32 at state Route 32A by state police at Catskill on a felony charge of aggravated unlicensed driving and a misdemeano­r charge of drunken driving. He was held pending arraignmen­t.
