••• Annie Cooney of Kingston graduated, magna cum laude, from Ithaca College on May 19, with a bachelor of science degree in physics.

She was also named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team. Cooney will continue her education in the fall at Hofstra University in Hempstead, where she will be pursuing a master of science degree in medical physics.
