The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

Lloyd

• Reckless driving: Destiny M. Johnson, 20, of Kingston, was arrested by the Lloyd Police Department Thursday, July 25 and was charged with reckless driving, a misdemeanor. She was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

• Drugs/possession of a controlled sub

stance: Jeanette N. Wright, 30, of Highland, was arrested by the Lloyd Police Department Friday, July 26 and was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a forged instrument, both felonies following a traffic stop on Violet Avenue. She was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, obstructing governmental administration, both misdemeanors and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Wright was arraigned in Lloyd Town Court.

• Drugs: Ethel A. Davis, 49, of Saugerties, was arrested Monday, July 29 on an arrest warrant for possession of a controlled substance and criminal impersonation, both misdemeanors. Davis was arraigned in Lloyd Town Court and was released with an appearance ticket.

Plattekill

• Drugs: John J. Brennan, of Flushing, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:20 p.m. Monday, July 29 on state Route 32 at Plattekill Ardonia Road and was charged with possession of 16 ounces of marijuana or greater, a felony. Brennan was held pending arraignment.

• DWI: Lauren A. Averill, 29, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:29 p.m. Monday, July 29 on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and was charged with drunken driving previous conviction in 10 years and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08 percent prior, both felonies. Averill was held pending arraignment.
