The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system:
Cairo
• Forgery: Dennis M. Wohlleber, 29, of Schenectady, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 on McLaren Road Extension and was charged with forgery, falsifying business records, and falsifying an instrument with intent to defraud, all felonies. Wohlleber was also charged with criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor. Further information was unavailable.
Catskill
• Weapons possession: Anthony A. Palermo, 34, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, on Embaught Road and was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket to appear in Catskill Town Court.
• DWI: Daniel W. LaForge, 37, of Pearl River, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:01 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, on state Route 23A and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated driving without a license, both misdemeanors. He was released on $500 cash bail pending a court appearance.
Ellenville
• Contempt: Caitlin L. Lojo, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 5:32 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, and was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. She was released pending an appearance in Ellenville Village Court.
• Drugs: Jacob U. Hval, 34, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 on Spruce Street and was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, and obstruction of governmental administration, all misdemeanors, as well as with trespass, disorderly conduct and harassment, all violations. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail, pending a court appearance.
Plattekill
• DWI: Tracy L. Mitchetti, 41, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, on state Route 32 and was charged with felony drunken driving. Further information was unavailable.
Rosendale
• DWI: Leodegario Eustaquio Chavez, 24, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, on Tillson Road and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets to appear in Rosendale Town Court.
