Kingston girls fourth at OCIAA Division I meet

Kingston High had one of its best showings in years at the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association girls swimming and diving championships, placing fourth overall in the Division 1 meet.
The Tigers tallied 332 points and came within a couple of individual placings from being second or third in the meet. Washingtonville was just a point ahead in third place with 333 and Monroe-Woodbury was runner-up with 336.5. Pine Bush ran away with the title, totaling 452.
Ellie Meyer led Kingston, placing second in the individual medley (2:17.91) and third in the breaststroke (1:11.85). The Tigers had six members place in the top 10 in the breaststroke, separated by only five seconds. Emily Constance was sixth, Sierra Ramirez took seventh, Jeanine Ohene Agyei eighth, Angie Vertullo ninth and Carly Ford 10th.
Mallory Sullivan was fifth in both freestyle sprints. Parker Ball placed fifth in the IM. Isabella Amaro captured fourth in the backstroke.
The 400-yard free relay of Sullivan, Amaro, Meyer and
Emily McCord was third in 3:49.61.
