Catskill

• Torturing/injuring animals/failure to provide proper sustenance:

Melissa S. Welsh, 39, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 7:02 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at police headquarte­rs, 422 Main St., and charged with the misdemeano­r of torturing or injuring animals/failure to provide proper sustenance. Welsh was released with a ticket for Catskill Village Court. Additional details were unavailabl­e.

• Grand larceny: Richard Colon, 39, of Cairo, was arrested by Catskill police at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at police headquarte­rs, 422 Main St., and charged with the felony of grand larceny of a credit card. Colon was released with a ticket for Catskill Village Court.

• DWI: Asif Mohammad, 52, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 10:33 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, in the village, and charged with misdemeano­r drunken driving and the violation of possession of marijuana. Mohammad was released with tickets for Catskill Village Court.

• DWI: Mitchell A. Gluc, 31, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 6:38 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, on state Route 23A in the town and charged with the misdemeano­rs of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Gluc was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.

Lloyd

• Contempt: Joseph G. Boccard, 50, homeless, was arrested by Lloyd police on Tuesday, Jan. 7, and charged with the felony of contempt and the misdemeano­rs of contempt and criminal mischief after allegedly violating an order of protection in Marlboro by entering another person’s hotel room and breaking a window. He was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court. • DWI: Melissa Trejo, 39, of Chester, was arrested by Lloyd police on Saturday, Jan. 18, following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 for alleged traffic violations and was charged with misdemeano­r drunken driving. Trejo was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court. • DWI: Akim A. Murray, 26, of Newburgh, was arrested by Lloyd police Saturday, Jan. 18, on U.S. Route 9W and charged with the felonies of drunken driving and aggravated unlicensed driving after the vehicle he was driving was stopped for alleged traffic violations. Murray was allegedly driving without a courtorder­ed ignition interlock device. He was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

Hurley

• DWAI-drugs/DWI:

Steven A. Scotti, 51, of Hurley, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, on U.S. Route 209 and charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving while ability impaired by drugs and drunken driving. Scotti was released with tickets for Hurley Town Court.
