The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system:
Athens
• Drugs: Jason E. Wiley, 38, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 3:16 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, on Vosenkill Road and was charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket to appear in Athens Town Court.
Cairo
• Assault: Robert L. Simpson, 39, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, on McLaren Road Extension and was charged with assault with intention to cause serious physical injury, a felony, and criminal mischief (preventing an emergency call), a misdemeanor. He was held at Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail pending an appearance in Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
• DWI: Tracy M. Lee, 44, of Trumbull, Conn., was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:28 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, on state Route 23 in the town of Catskill and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. She was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Livingston
• Drugs: Kevin P. Dunn, 35, and Kelsey M. Ferguson, 32, both of Tivoli, were arrested by state police at Claverack at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, on U.S. Route 9. Each was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Both were released with tickets to appear in Livingston Town Court.
Plattekill
• Aggravated DWI: Nils A. Russell, 50, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 7:27 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, on state Route 32 and was charged with aggravated drunken driving with a child, a felony; and with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released to a third party with tickets to appear in Plattekill Town Court.
Red Hook
• Contempt: Isaias Barrera Quintero, 33, of Red Hook, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in the village of Red Hook, and was charged with criminal contempt (disobeying a court order), a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket to appear in Red Hook Village Court.
Saugerties
• DWI: Keith J. Hines, 49, of Glasco, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket to appear in Saugerties Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI: Adam P. Pachucki, 23, of Saugerties, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, on U.S. Route 9W by state police at Ulster and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with a ticket to appear in Ulster Town Court.
