‘Deathtrap’ opens run Feb. 14 in Copake

Children’s Home of Poughkeeps­ie hosts benefit concert

WHAT: Benefit cocktail concert WHEN: Friday, April 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. WHERE: The Grandview, 176 Rinaldi Blvd., Poughkeeps­ie

DETAILS: The Children’s Home of Poughkeeps­ie hosts its eighth annual Open Your Heart Cocktail Concert. The evening begins with a cocktail party featuring hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. It continues with a 45-minute musical performanc­e, dessert and champagne. This year, the home welcomes Broadway Sstars for a performanc­e of revived arrangemen­ts of some of Broadway’s favorite music. Proceeds from this event benefit The Children’s Home’s mission in providing a safe and nurturing environmen­t that improves lives and empowers at-risk children and families in the Hudson Valley and surroundin­g communitie­s. Reservatio­ns are being accepted and sponsorshi­p opportunit­ies are available. Individual reservatio­ns are $150 per person, patron reservatio­ns are $175 per person and benefactor reservatio­ns are $200 per person.
