Woodsy’s III rallies for win over Main Street Financial
Woodsy’s III pulled themselves out a 11-point halftime deficit to come away with a 62-61 win over Main Street Financial in a Kingston Recreation League biddy basketball 14-18-year-old-boys basketball contest.
Trailing 39-28 at the half, Woodsy’s III went on a 3422 run in the second to take the victory.
Steven Freer poured in 30 points and Jimmy McCardle came up with 18 to lead the way for Woodsy’s.
Ryan Killian scored 13 and John Prizzi had 11 to pace Main Street.
Isiah Thomas’s 32-point evening powered Rondout Savings Bank to a 5345 win over Herzog’s in a 11-13-year-old-boys contest.
Rondout led by 14 at the half and it proved more than enough to hold off Herzog’s second-half rally.
Steven Edwards (18 points) and Michael Schoonmaker (11) paced Herzog’s.
Sofia Perez scored 13 points and Tabech Sweeney added six to lead Kingston Point BMX past Darmstadt Overhead Doors 25-19 in an 8-12-year-old-girls game.
Victoria Fall paced 13 points to pace Darmstadt.
Jack Savona and Niiyamiah Herbert combined for 19 of Kingston’s Lion’s Club 27 points in a 27-13 victory over Lowe Plumbing in an 8-10-years-old-boys matchup.
Kayden Ward scored 12 to carry Lowe Plumbing.
