The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system:
City of Kingston
• Drugs: Edward J. Adkins, 25, of Purling, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:35 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, on Washington Avenue and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Adkins was released with an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.
• DWI: Andrea M. Hayman, 35, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:42 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, on Green Street and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Hayman was released with an appearance ticket for Kingston
City Court.
Coxsackie
• Contempt: Patricia C. Davenport, 58, of Coxsackie, and Mary E. Camera, 65, of Schenectady, were arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 7:10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, and were each charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. Davenport was released with an appearance ticket for Coxsackie Town Court and Camera was released on her own recognizance.
Hyde Park
• DWI: Craig K. Brown, 38, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 3:06 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, on U.S. Route 9 and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Brown was released with an appearance ticket for Hyde Park Town Court.
New Paltz
• DWI: Kobe N. Wiggins, 21, of Meridian, Connecticut, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:25a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, on North Chestnut Street and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08percent, both misdemeanors. Wiggins was released with an appearance ticket for New Paltz Town Court.
Saugerties
• DWI: Mark J. Valk, 58, of Palenville, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:25 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, on state Route 32 and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Valk was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI: David E. Obando, 27, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:50 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, on state Route 28and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08percent, both misdemeanors. Obando was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Drugs: Dominique M. Fata, 33, of New Windsor, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:33 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, on Tempaloni Road and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Fata was released with an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
