City and Colour perform May 18 at UPAC

DETAILS: Singer/Songwriter Dallas Green’s City and Colour has resonated throughout the internatio­nal independen­t music scene. Green’s albums include his debut “Sometimes,” “Bring Me Your Love,” “Little Hell,” “The Hurry and the Harm” and “If I Should Go Before You (2015). His sixth full-length studio album is “A Pill for Loneliness.” Beyond his legacy as a co-founder of hardcore luminaries Alexisonfi­re. he also teamed up with Alecia Moore (a.k.a. P!nk) to record as folk duo You+Me. Tickets start at $40

Reading with Bard Fiction Prize winner on Feb. 24

WHAT: Reading WHEN: Monday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m.

WHERE: Bard College’s Reem-Kayden Center Auditorium, 30 Campus Road, Annandale-On-Hudson

DETAILS: Clare Beams, Bard Fiction Prize winner and writer in residence at Bard College, will read from her recent work. Beams received the Bard Fiction Prize for her debut collection of short stories, “We Show What We Have Learned.” Her newest book, “The Illness Lesson” will be released on Feb. 11. During her residency, Beams will continue her writing and meet informally with students. This event is free and open to the public.
