• Drugs: Daequan I. Roberts, age unavailable, of New York City, will be sentenced in April by Ulster County Court Judge Bryan Rounds after being convicted of possession of a controlled substance, a felony. Roberts was arrested by state police on Nov. 11, 2018, on the New York State Thruway in New Paltz after a traffic stop for an alleged vehicle and traffic violation. He was initially charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies; possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and with possession of marijuana, a violation. At the time, police said about 4.6 grams of crack cocaine, multiple glassine envelopes containing about 1.3 grams of heroin, about 5.8 grams of K2 and about 1 gram of marijuana were in the vehicle. • Drugs: Edward J. Adkins, age unavailable, of Purling, who has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, had his case adjourned for sentencing Tuesday, May 5 before Judge Rounds. Adkins was ticketed on Sunday, Feb. 2, after a traffic stop by state police on Washington Avenue in Kingston. He was initially charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
