Town of Kingston

• DWI: Bret A. Tanzer, 37, of Chicago, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:41 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, on state Route 28 in the town and charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Tanzer was released with tickets for Kingston Town Court.

Lloyd

• DWAI-drugs: Robert Nani, 29, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by Lloyd police on Thursday, March 5, on Vineyard Avenue in Highland and charged with the felony of driving while ability impaired by drugs after he was observed driving erraticall­y. Nani was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

• DWI: Keith A. Scully II, 29, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on Sunday, March 8, after a stop on Vineyard Avenue in Highland for alleged traffic violations and was charged with the felonies of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving and the violation of driving without a court-ordered ignition interlock device. Scully was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

• DWI: John F. White Jr., 42, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by Lloyd police on

Sunday, March 8, following a property damage automobile accident on U.S. Route 9W in Highland and was charged with misdemeano­r drunken driving. White was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

Saugerties

• Drugs: Joseph T. Storm, 35, homeless, was arrested by Saugerties police at 7:15 p.m. Monday, March 9, on Main Street in the village and charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance (Oxycontin). Storm was released with a ticket for Saugerties Village Court. Storm appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was taken by ambulance to the Health Alliance Hospital’s Broadway Campus for evaluation.

• Criminal mischief/

harassment: Matthew A. Halstead, 26, of Garage Drive, Ghent, was arrested by Saugerties police at 9:44 a.m. Monday, March 9, and was charged with the felony of criminal mischief and the violation of harassment. Halstead’s arrest followed a report of an unwanted male in the complainan­t’s residence in the village. He allegedly entered the residence, grabbed the victim by the hair and slapped the victim across the face twice before kicking and causing “extensive damage” to the door and door frame. Halstead was released with tickets for Saugerties Village Court.
