City of Kingston
• DWI: Lucas Maychoc, 27, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, on Downs Street and charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Maychoc was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Esopus
• DWI: Antony D. Canova, 53, of Whitehouse Station, N.J., was arrested by state police at Highland on state Route 213 at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Canova was released with tickets for Esopus Town Court.
Rhinebeck
• Endangering/weapon: David J. Minihane, 51, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the state police barracks, 5696 U.S. Route 9, and was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of possession of a weapon (firearm), all misdemeanors. Minihane was released with tickets for Rhinebeck Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Contraband in prison: Maurice Scarboro, 29, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:34 p.m. Monday, March 9, at the Ulster Correctional Facility, 750 Berme Road, and was charged with possession of dangerous contraband in prison, a felony. Scarboro, who is serving a two-year sentence for drug possession, was returned to the prison with an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court. Further information was unavailable.
