Kingston
• Possession: Christopher J. Lay, 38, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 25, on Smith Avenue in Kingston and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.
Catskill
• DWAI-Drugs: Zachary D. Hilton, 22, of Glasco, was arrested by state police of Coxsackie at 1:21 a.m. Saturday, May 23, on Depot Street in the village of Catskill and charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. He was issued a court appearance ticket.
Highland
• DWI: Alvin K. Dawson, 61, of Highland, was arrested Friday, May 22, by town of Lloyd Police on U.S. Route 9W in Highland and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies, and driving without a courtordered ignition interlock device, a misdemeanor. He was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
• Exposure: Ralph T. Polese, 45, no address, was arrested by Lloyd Police on Monday, May 25, and charged with exposure after being observed urinating in public at a gas station on U.S. Route 9W in Highland, police said. He was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Lloyd
• Contempt: Ahmed Mohammed, 42, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd Police on Sunday, May 24, and charged with criminal contempt of court, violating an Ulster County Family Court Order of Protection. He was released on an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
• Petit Larceny: Tiffany C. Augustine, 36, of the town of Ulster, was arrested by town of Lloyd Police on Monday, May 25, and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. She is accused of stealing medication from a nursing home facility in Highland, where she is employed, police said. She was released on an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
• Possession: Steven Castro, 25, of Lake Worth, Florida, was arrested by state police at Lloyd at 1:31 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Town of Rochester
• Assault: Jared R. Conklin, 39, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office at 12 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, in the town of Rochester after a domestic dispute. The investigation alleged he struck a family member in the face, causing injury, authorities said. He was charged with misdemeanor assault and released with an appearance ticket for Rochester Town Court.
Rosendale
• Assault: Reand A. Ward Jr., 24, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office at 4:30 a.m. Monday, May 25, on Main Street in the town of Rosendale. An investigation into a domestic dispute call alleged Ward slapped and punched a person in the face, authorities said, adding that Ward left the area and was later located by the town of Poughkeepsie police. State police assisted. He was charged with misdemeanor assault and released with a ticket for Rosendale Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Mischief: Kelly A. Keener, 43, of Napanoch, was arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office at 1 a.m. Monday, May 25, in the town of Wawarsing. An investigation alleged Keener intentionally broke a bathroom door with a hammer during a dispute. She was charged with mischief, a misdemeanor, and released with an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court. State police assisted.
• DWI: Tavonn W. Lassiter, 24, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Ellenville at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, on Foordmore Road. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was issued an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
