The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Cairo
• Contempt/drugs: Mark A. Romine, 28, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9:32 p.m. Thursday, June 18, and was charged with contempt of a court order and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. Romine was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
• DWI: John E. Guadagno, 34, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on state Route 23 at 11:32 p.m. Thursday, June 18, and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated unlicensed driving (previous conviction within 10 years), both felonies. Guadagno was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
• Drugs: Teirra Pickering,
30, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on Hearts Content Road in the town at 9:32 p.m. Thursday, June 18, and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Pickering was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
Lloyd
• Marijuana: Davis L. Ramond, 37, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:15 a.m. Friday, June 19, on U.S. Route 44 and was charged with possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Ramond was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
New Baltimore
• Drugs/tampering: Cruz Rivera, 32, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 5:11 p.m. Thursday, June 18, on U.S. Route 9W in New Baltimore and was charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony, and with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Rivera was released with tickets for New Baltimore Town Court.
Saugerties
• Contempt: Stephan M. Green, 35, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18, and was charged with felony contempt. Green was released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Assault, resisting: A 16-year-old Napanoch boy, who was not identified by police because of his age, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18, on ShopRite Boulevard and was charged with felony assault and with misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. He was released to a third party pending an appearance in Wawarsing Town Court.
