• DWI: Elvis Soriano-Rojas, 41, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:02 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Wall Street and Greenkill Avenue and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a bloodalcoh­ol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Soriano-Rojas was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Cairo

• DWI: Terence M. McSorley, 67, of Acra, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:31 p.m. Thursday, June 26, on county Route 23B and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. McSorley was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.

Greenport

• DWI: Jarrett Q. Fisher,

65, of Jefferson Heights, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 8:20 p.m. Thursday, June 25, on state Route 9G and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets for Greenport Town Court.

Lloyd

• Drugs: Menucha R.

Bindell, 25, of Albany, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:33 p.m. Thursday, June 25, on U.S. Route 9W, and was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. Bindell was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

New Paltz

• Marijuana: David Goldberg, 22, of Mahopac, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:02 p.m. Thursday, June 25, on state Route 32 in the town of New Paltz and was charged with possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana, a misdemeano­r. Goldberg was released with a ticket for New Paltz Court.

Town of Rochester

• DWI: Isai Aparicio, 26, of Brunswick, N.J., was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, June 25, on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and was charged with drunken driving and with driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Aparicio was released with tickets for Rochester Town Court.
