The following items are based on information provided by of- ficials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system:
Cairo
• Drugs: Michael J. Schmitt, 33, of Purling, was arrested by state police at Catskill 4:52 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at state routes 23 and 23B in the town of Cairo and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia (scales), both misdemeanors. He was released with an appearance ticket for Cairo Town Court.
Marbletown
• DWI: Yomar Andrade Morales, 43, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:20 p.m.
Saturday, June 27, at U.S. Route 209 and Schoonmaker Lane in the town of Marbletown and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with an appearance ticket for Marbletown Town Court.
Saugerties
• Contempt: Amanda Rotondaro, 33, of Saugerties, was arrested by the Saugerties Police Department Friday, June 26, accused of violating an order of protection issued by Saugerties Village Court. She was charged with contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor, and was released with an appearance ticket for Saugerties Village Court.
• DWI: Tashawn A. Pierce, 38, of Schenectady, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, June 27, on the New York State Thruway in the town of Saugerties and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor. She was released with an appearance ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• Stolen property: Shannon M. Inger, 34, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, June 27, in the town of Ulster and was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor. She was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
• Drugs: Dustin N. Jones, 39, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, on Leggs Mill Road in the town of Ulster and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He was was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Windham
• DWI: Oscar Velez, 29, of East Brunswick, N.J., was arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:16 p.m. Saturday, June 27, in the town of Windham and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with appearance tickets for Windham Town Court.
