• The 50th Annual Marbletown Road Run, scheduled for July 4, has been canceled.

• The Woodstock Animal Sanctuary will remain closed in July.

• The Kingston school district’s breakfast and lunch distribution will continue over the summer for students, Mondays through Fridays. Find pick-up locations and times at kingstoncityschools.org/ meals.

• The Ulster County Pool Complex in New Paltz will open Saturday, July 4, and remain open until Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and occupancy will be limited to 325 people at any one time, It will be only open to county residents and guests. One swim lane will be available from 11 a.m. to noon. The CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines for pools must be followed at all times.

• The Belleayre Beach in Highmount opened June 28. The beach is open, with reduced capacity, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Online: belleayre.com/todo/belleayrebeach.

• Additional campgrounds in the Catskill Park reopened

July 1 to reservation holders for the 2020 season, including the Devils Tombstone Campground and Day-Use Area in Hunter, the Kenneth L. Wilson Campground and Day-Use Area in Mount Tremper, and the Mongaup Pond Campground and Day-Use area in Livingston Manor. DEC-controlled fire towers, with the exception of Sugar Hill, also have reopened.

• Dutchess County will host drive-in fireworks displays at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4, at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Route 9, Rhinebeck; Dutchess Stadium, Route

9D, Fishkill; and Silo Ridge Field Club Equestrian Center (Keane Stud), Depot Hill Road, Amenia.

• Fourth of July fireworks will take place at TechCity in the town of Ulster. Attendees will have to stay in their cars. The parking lots at TechCity, 300 Enterprise Drive, will open at 7:30 p.m., and the fireworks will start after dusk. Admission is free and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed.

• The Ulster County Fair, scheduled for Aug. 4-9, has been canceled.

• The Dutchess County Fair, scheduled for Aug. 25-30, has been canceled.

• The Columbia County Fair, scheduled for Sept. 3-7, has been canceled.

• The Food Pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, 72 Spring St., Kingston, is now open Tuesdays by appointment by calling (845) 338-2954 (leave a message), and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wear a mask to pick up a bag of groceries at the door.

• The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center, 108 Parker Ave., Poughkeepsie, will reopen to the public at 8 a.m. Monday, July 6.

• The Olana State Historic

Site in Columbia County is resuming outdoor tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The grounds are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to sunset. More info: olana.org.

• The Emerson Resort & Spa will reopen Thursday, July 16.

• The Rosendale Library has begun curbside pickup. Holds can be placed at (845) 658-9013 or at rosendalelibrary.org. Print, fax, and copy service also will be available at curbside by appointment.

• The Town of Ulster Library is closed, but its drop box is open for returns. Curbside pickup will being the first week of July.

• Hunter Mountain in Greene County has opened with a limited summer footprint focusing on mountain access and scenic lift rides.

• The city of Kingston’s playgrounds have reopened with health and safety rules.

• The Ulster County Department of Motor Vehicles office, 244 Fair St., Kingston, has reopened for limited transactions and by appointment only. Visit bit.ly/uc-dmv-appt.

• The Dutchess County Department of Motor Vehicles, 22 Market St., Poughkeepsie, has resumed in-person license, permits and non-driver ID transactions by appointment only. • Metro-North’s Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines have increased peak service.

• The Phoenicia Library is closed, but it is offering curbside pickup, and its exterior book drop is open for returns.

• Kingston Point Beach has reopened at 50 percent capacity and will have lifeguards on duty Wednesday to Sunday each week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• The YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County will operate its summer day camps this year at under 50 percent of the permitted capacities.

• Coach House Players in Kingston has canceled the remainder of the 2020 season. This season shows are scheduled to be performed during the 2021 season. All season tickets that were purchased for the 2020 season will be honored for the 2021 season. Visit coachhouseplayers.org.

• Zoom Flume Water Park in East Durham in Greene County has canceled its 2020 season.

• The city of Poughkeepsie has reopened its parks and skate park.

• The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has canceled all pavilion shows planned for the summer of 2020.

• The town of Ulster transfer station has reopened. Town offices are to reopen Monday, July 6.

• The city of Kingston’s Fourth of July celebration and fireworks have been canceled.

• The Town of Hyde Park has canceled its summer camp program as well as the opening of the Hackett Hill pool for the 2020 season. The town’s Independence Day parade also is canceled.

• Dutchess County Public Transit and Ulster County Area Transit have increased bus service. Go to bit.ly/busresume for details.

• Trailways of New York has resumed bus service between Kingston and New York City, though on a limited basis.

• The Athens Performing Arts Corporation has canceled its 2020 summer concert series in Athens Riverfront Park.

• County courts in Dutchess and Ulster have begun limited reopening. Court proceedings will continue to be done virtually.

• City of Poughkeepsie pools will not be opened for the foreseeable future.

• Opus 40 in Saugerties will be open Thursdays through Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All guests (no more than five per group) must sign up in advance, and spend no more than two hours on site, to prevent overcrowding. No one will be allowed entry without advance signup, and all indoor spaces will remain closed. Staff will be on site during all open hours to ensure that guests are practicing physical distancing. • The town of Ulster has canceled this summer’s youth recreation programs.

• The town of Wawarsing will not have summer recreation programs, including Camp Shawangunk, and the town pools will be closed.

• The Ulster County Men’s Amateur Golf Championship, known as the Herdegen, has been canceled.

• Mohonk Preserve has begun a phased reopening of its trails.

• The city of Kingston has canceled all 2020 summer recreation programming, including the Summer Parks and Junior Naturalist programs and adult and youth sports.

• The new Kingston Waterfront Farmers’ Market takes place at TR Gallo Park on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• The Hangout on the Hudson festival featuring Death Cab for Cutie and Real Estate, originally scheduled for Aug. 1 in Dutchess County, has been canceled.

• Maverick Concerts’ 105th chamber music festival in Woodstock, originally scheduled from June 27 to Sept. 13, 2020, is canceled.

• Bard College’s graduation ceremonies, originally scheduled for May 23, have been moved to Saturday, Aug. 22.

• The Rosendale Senors’ trip to Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills of South Dakota has been postponed until Aug. 14-24.

• The launch date for Vetson-Water on the Hudson

River, originally scheduled for June, has been postponed to Sept. 5.

• The Rosendale Street Festival, originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19, is canceled.

• Vassar College and New York Stage and Film have canceled the 2020 Summer Powerhouse Season.

• The inaugural Walkway One Mile – 10 1-mile races celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park – has been postponed until Saturday, Sept. 5. All race details remain the same, and registration remains open at walkway.org/onemile. Previous registrations will automatically carry over to the new date. Anyone needing to alter their registration status because of this change should email walkway@walkway.org to do so without penalty.

• The Town of Ulster Senior Club has suspended its scheduled meetings until further notice. The Town of Ulster Senior Center at 1 Town Hall Drive is closed. Call Karen at (845) 389-3429 for more information.

• Kingston’s Emergency Food Hotline has added a website, www.kingstonemergencyfood.com. To provide meals and groceries to those in need across the Kingston City School District, the Emergency Food hotline, (888) 316-0879, was created to streamline the intake of requests.

• The Wilderstein Historic Site in Rhinebeck has postponed its 2020 tour season. Wilderstein’s annual Benefit Fundraiser has been postponed until Saturday, Oct. 3. Other programming for 2020 is currently being evaluated. • In addition to the current closure of all public buildings at Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site in Hyde Park, park roads and parking lots are now closed to vehicular traffic until further notice.

• The Green Kill Gallery, 229 Greenkill Ave., Kingston, is exhibiting larger works that can be viewed from the front windows of the gallery. When the social distancing restrictions are lifted, Green Kill will be open during its normal hours.

• Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County has moved its classes, meetings and workshops online. Go to ulster.cce.cornell.edu.

• The Arts Society of Kingston’s gallery is closed and has moved its exhibitions online. Go to askforarts.org/onlinegalleries.

• The Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center in Kingston, which is closed, is moving group meetings and workshops online. Go to lgbtqcenter.org for more information.

• Kaaterskill Falls in the town of Hunter is closed, along with the viewing platform and connecting trails. Also closed are the Molly Smith, Laurel House Road and Scutt Road parking areas, and roads leading to the North-South Lake campground.

• The Kingston Common Council is now holding its meetings remotely.

• The Legoland New York Resort in Goshen has postponed its opening until 2021.

• Performing Arts of Woodstock has canceled its 2020 season.

• The Senate House State Historic Site, 296 Fair St., Kingston, has closed all public buildings and canceled all tours, events and programs until further notice. The grounds remain open from dawn to dusk.

• The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz has moved its exhibits online. Go to newpaltz.edu/dorskymuseum.

• Ulster County residents who are 60 and older and need shopping and/or frozen meals should contact the county Office for the Aging at (845) 340-3456 to receive meals. Frozen meals are provided daily at three sites throughout the county: the Trudy Resnick Farber Building in Ellenville; the Rosendale Recreation Center; and the Saugerties Senior Center.

• The Lions Club Mini-Park located at South Parsonage Street and North Park Road in Rhinebeck is closed until further notice.

• The Kingston Stockade FC soccer season is canceled.

• The Roost Studios & Art Gallery in New Paltz is closed. The Student Art Exhibit is online at www.roostcoop.org/ student-virtual-exhibition.

• The Woodstock School of Art is closed until further notice.

• The Dutchess County Office for the Aging prepares hot meals that are delivered to home-bound seniors Monday to Friday. During the COVID-19 outbreak, New York state has temporarily expanded eligibility for the home-delivered meals program for seniors. • Dutchess County Public Transit has announced service reductions. Only Routes E, J, K and L will be operating, with service provided from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All other fixed routes will be suspended.

• Unison’s theater and classroom space in New Paltz is closed.

• Catholic Charities Case Management Services, including the Housing Resource Center, remain available for assistance with emergency food and shelter, and other basic social safety net support. Requests for assistance should be initiated with a phone in Ulster at (845) 3409170, extension 3000, or by email at cccosuhelpline@cccsos.org.

• CREATE (the Council for Resources to Enrich the Arts, Technology & Education) at the Greene County Council on the Arts, 398 Main St., Catskill, is closed to the public.

• Bank of Greene County branch lobbies are closed except by appointment. Drivethrough lanes, ATMs and night drops are available.

• The St. James Happy to Help Food Pantry said anyone needing emergency food can call (845) 331-3030 to arrange for pickups.

• The New Paltz Retired Men’s Group has temporarily suspended its monthly meetings.

• The Town of Ulster Senior Club has canceled all of its upcoming scheduled meetings. The Town of Ulster Senior Center is closed.

• The Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill has postponed spring events. The grounds are open for visits.

• The Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill has postponed some performances until August and canceled performances by The Hyde Park Ensemble and Flo Hayle’s cabaret.

• The Clermont State Historic Site’s historic mansion and visitors center has not opened for the season for tours and events. The Chancellor’s Sheep and Wool Showcase has been canceled. The historic grounds and trails remain open daily from 8:30 a.m. to sunset. Parking fees are waived.

• The state police are suspending employment fingerprinting, along with child safety seat checks, at their stations.

• All local Social Security offices are closed to the public for in-person service.

• Hudson Valley Honor Flight has postponed two flights and its annual Lunch of Honor this fall.

• The Boys & Girls Club of Ulster County is closed.

• The Marlborough Town Hall is closed until further notice.

• The Esopus Town Hall is closed until further notice.

• The Town of Ulster Justice Court is closed.

• The FDR Library and Museum in Hyde Park is closed until further notice.

• The Bardavon in Poughkeepsie and the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston are closed.

• Colony Woodstock has canceled events.

• Helsinki Hudson has closed the club and the restaurant and canceled events.

• Upstate Films in both Rhinebeck and Woodstock is closed.

• The Rosendale Cafe has canceled Salsa Thursdays until further notice.
