• Kingston Point Beach is open at 50 percent capacity and has lifeguards on duty Wednesdays to Sundays each week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• The Ulster County Pool Complex in New Paltz will remain open until Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and occupancy will be limited to 325 people at any one time, It will be only open to county residents and guests. One swim lane will be available from 11 a.m. to noon. The CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines for pools must be followed at all times.

• The Belleayre Beach in Highmount is open, with reduced capacity, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Online: belleayre. com/todo/belleayre-beach.

• Additional campground­s in the Catskill Park have reopened to reservatio­n holders for the 2020 season, including the Devils Tombstone Campground and Day-Use Area in Hunter, the Kenneth L. Wilson Campground and Day-Use Area in Mount Tremper, and the Mongaup Pond Campground and Day-Use area in Livingston Manor. DEC-controlled fire towers, with the exception of Sugar Hill, also have reopened.

• The inaugural Walkway One Mile – 10 1-mile races celebratin­g the 10-year anniversar­y of Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park – has been canceled. The event had been initially postponed until Saturday, Sept. 5, but is now scheduled to take place in 2021.

• The Emerson Resort & Spa Woodstock Open will take place Monday, July 27, at the Woodstock Golf Club. The deadline for entry is Wednesday, July 22, or the first 72 players to sign up for either a morning or afternoon team time. • The Food Pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, 72 Spring St., Kingston, is open Tuesdays by appointmen­t by calling (845) 338-2954 (leave a message), and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wear a mask to pick up a bag of groceries at the door.

• The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcemen­t Center, 108 Parker Ave., Poughkeeps­ie, has reopened to the public.

• The Olana State Historic Site in Columbia County is resuming outdoor tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The grounds are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to sunset. More info: olana.org.

• All county fairs in New York, as well as the State Fair, have been canceled.

• The Hudson Valley Garlic Festival, scheduled for Sept. 26-27 at Cantine Field in Saugerties, has been canceled.

• The Woodstock Animal Sanctuary will remain closed in July.

• The Friends of Historic Saugerties has canceled its monthly local history lectures at the Saugerties Public Library for the rest of 2020.

• The Rosendale Library has begun curbside pickup. Holds can be placed at (845) 6589013 or at rosendalel­ibrary.org. Print, fax, and copy service also will be available at curbside by appointmen­t.

• The Hurley and West Hurley libraries have reopened. Patrons may browse the shelves, use the computers, fax materials and reserve items in the online catalog. Furniture will be rearranged to maintain social distancing. The libraries will offer hand sanitizer, including wipes for the computers to be used after each visitor.

Returned books will be quarantine­d before re-entering circulatio­n. Everyone will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Each building will limit capacity and activities. Both libraries are still offering curbside borrowing for those patrons who are more comfortabl­e with that service. Digital eBooks and streaming are still being fully supported as well.

• Coach House Players in Kingston has canceled the remainder of the 2020 season. This season shows are scheduled to be performed during the 2021 season. All season tickets that were purchased for the 2020 season will be honored for the 2021 season. Visit coachhouse­players.org.

• Zoom Flume Water Park in East Durham in Greene County has canceled its 2020 season. • The city of Poughkeeps­ie has reopened its parks and skate park.

• The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has canceled all pavilion shows planned for the summer of 2020.

• The town of Ulster’s office and transfer station have reopened.

• The Town of Hyde Park has canceled its summer camp program as well as the opening of the Hackett Hill pool for the 2020 season. The town’s Independen­ce Day parade also is canceled.

• Trailways of New York has resumed bus service between Kingston and New York City, though on a limited basis.

• The Athens Performing Arts Corporatio­n has canceled its 2020 summer concert series in Athens Riverfront Park.

• County courts in Dutchess and Ulster have begun limited reopening. Court proceeding­s will continue to be done virtually.

• City of Poughkeeps­ie pools will not be opened for the foreseeabl­e future.

• Opus 40 in Saugerties will be open Thursdays through Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All guests (no more than five per group) must sign up in advance, and spend no more than two hours on site, to prevent overcrowdi­ng. No one will be allowed entry without advance signup, and all indoor spaces will remain closed. Staff will be on site during all open hours to ensure that guests are practicing physical distancing. • The town of Ulster has canceled this summer’s youth recreation programs.

• The town of Wawarsing will not have summer recreation programs, including Camp Shawangunk, and the town pools will be closed.

• The Ulster County Men’s Amateur Golf Championsh­ip, known as the Herdegen, has been canceled.

• Mohonk Preserve has begun a phased reopening of its trails.

• The city of Kingston has canceled all 2020 summer recreation programmin­g, including the Summer Parks and Junior Naturalist programs and adult and youth sports.

• The new Kingston Waterfront Farmers’ Market takes place at TR Gallo Park on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• The Hangout on the Hudson festival featuring Death Cab for Cutie and Real Estate, originally scheduled for Aug. 1 in Dutchess County, has been canceled.

• Maverick Concerts’ 105th chamber music festival in Woodstock, originally scheduled from June 27 to Sept. 13, 2020, is canceled.

• Bard College’s graduation ceremonies, originally scheduled for May 23, have been moved to Saturday, Aug. 22.

• The Rosendale Senors’ trip to Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills of South Dakota has been postponed until Aug. 14-24.

• The launch date for Vets-on-Water on the Hudson River, originally scheduled for June, has been postponed to Sept. 5.

• Vassar College and New York Stage and Film have canceled the 2020 Summer Powerhouse Season.

• Kingston’s Emergency Food Hotline has added a website, www.kingstonem­ergencyfoo­d.com. To provide meals and groceries to those in need across the Kingston City

School District, the Emergency Food hotline, (888) 316-0879, was created to streamline the intake of requests.

• The Wilderstei­n Historic

Site in Rhinebeck has postponed its 2020 tour season. Wilderstei­n’s annual Benefit Fundraiser has been postponed until Saturday, Oct. 3. Other programmin­g for 2020 is currently being evaluated.

• In addition to the current closure of all public buildings at Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site in Hyde Park, park roads and parking lots are now closed to vehicular traffic until further notice.

• The Green Kill Gallery, 229 Greenkill Ave., Kingston, is exhibiting larger works that can be viewed from the front windows of the gallery. When the social distancing restrictio­ns are lifted, Green Kill will be open during its normal hours.

• The Kingston Common Council is holding its meetings remotely.

• The Legoland New York Resort in Goshen has postponed its opening until 2021.

• Performing Arts of Woodstock has canceled its 2020 season.

• Ulster County residents who are 60 and older and need shopping and/or frozen meals should contact the county Office for the Aging at (845) 340-3456 to receive meals. Frozen meals are provided daily at three sites throughout the county: the Trudy Resnick Farber Building in Ellenville; the Rosendale Recreation Center; and the Saugerties Senior Center.

• The Lions Club Mini-Park located at South Parsonage Street and North Park Road in Rhinebeck is closed until further notice.

• The Kingston Stockade FC soccer season is canceled.

• Unison’s theater and classroom space in New Paltz is closed.

• The New Paltz Retired Men’s Group has temporaril­y suspended its monthly meetings.

• The Town of Ulster Senior Club has canceled all of its upcoming scheduled meetings. The Town of Ulster Senior Center is closed.

• The Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill has postponed some performanc­es until August and canceled performanc­es by The Hyde Park Ensemble and Flo Hayle’s cabaret.

• The Clermont State Historic Site’s historic mansion and visitors center has not opened for the season for tours and events. The Chancellor’s Sheep and Wool Showcase has been canceled. The historic grounds and trails remain open daily from 8:30 a.m. to sunset. Parking fees are waived.

• The state police have suspended employment fingerprin­ting, along with child safety seat checks, at their stations.

• All local Social Security offices are closed to the public for in-person service.

• Hudson Valley Honor Flight has postponed two flights and its annual Lunch of Honor this fall.

• The Boys & Girls Club of Ulster County is operating at limited capacity.
