Kingston Youth Baseball & Softball Association: Registration now being accepted for an organization that is a merger of the Kingston Little League and Kingston Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth. Registration closes July 31. Practices will be held for two weeks Aug. 1-14. Six-week season is from Aug. 15-Sept. 27. Programs and prices are 6U (ages 5-6) $75; 8U (7-8) $100; 10U (9-10) $125; 12U (11-12) $125; 14U (13-14) $125; 16U (15-16) $125. Family Rate: $200 maximum. NY Blackhawks: Tryouts Aug. 2 at the Edson School Complex, 116 Merlina Ave., Kingston. 10U & 12U teams meet from 2-4 p.m., followed by 14U & and 16U from 4-6 p.m. Individual evaluations can be scheduled by appointment by contacting Tony Abbatine, who is in charge of the program’s skills training and coaching curriculum.
