On the move
Carolyn Keogh has been named as The Olana Partnership’s new Director of Education and Public Programs.
Keogh comes to the Olana State Historic Site from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, where she worked the Manager of School, Youth, and Teen Programs since 2012.
In her previous role, Keogh oversaw gallery and studio programs, coordinated professional development for educators and assisted with teaching and curriculum development. Keogh received her MA in Art History with a focus on Art Museum Education at City College and graduated with honors from New York University with a BA degree in Art History.
Her research on the connections between empathy-building and art museum education was recently published in Theory and Practice:
The Emerging Museum Professionals Journal.
Keogh has family roots in the Capital Region, and she and her partner, Lakshmi Subramanian, are excited come to Hudson.

The Town of Marbletown has appointed Jessica Phelan as permanent Assistant Recreation.
Phela n oversees community engagement, facilitates group use, and manages event liability at Marbletown’s Community Center and Town Park. Since 2018, Phelan has served as the Provisional Assistant Recreation Director.
Phelan has a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Mount Saint Mary College, where she specialized in Business Management & Administration. She holds an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Business Administration
from SUNY Ulster and is an alumna of Rondout Valley High School. Phelan is a proud March for Babies Team Captain for the March of Dimes.
Phelan lives in Stone Ridge. She enjoys running, gardening, going to New York Yankees and Rangers games with her husband Morgan, and digging in the dirt with her son Charlie.

Nautilus bestowed the Silver Award to Hudson Valley author, David Levine, for his book, “A Year of Belonging: Fifty-Two Reflections and Practices for Educators.” Levine wrote this book as an inspirational companion to his professional development program, Creating a School of Belonging, currently utilized in its online format by educators and their students in the Kingston City School District.

Justin Goldman has been promoted to Commercial Lending and Business Development Officer at the Bank of Greene County.
Goldman has been with the bank for five years, and held positions of increased responsibility in both the branch network and lending area, as well as completing the bank’s Management Training Program. He has a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, and lending certificates from the Center for Financial Training. He also completed a fellowship with the Good Work Institute.
Goldman serves on the Board of the Columbia County Habitat for Humanity, O+ Festival, and Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Hudson.
Anne Carlisle has been promoted to Administrative Associate and Board Secretary at the Bank of Greene County.
Carlisle has been with the bank for one year, and was most recently an Assistant Branch Manager for the bank’s Columbia County branches. She has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Albany, and is a member of The Kinderhook Ladies Auxiliary. She lives in Kinderhook.
