City of Kingston

• DWI: Guillermo A. Aco, 48, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:44 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, in the city of Kingston and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

• DWI: Abigail Vazquez, 28, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:50 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, in the city of Kingston and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. She was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Athens

• DWI: Lovleen K. Cavanagh, 43, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie 11:11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Athens and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeano­r. She was released pending a court appearance.

Cairo

• DWI: Tyrone Swain, 44, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:14 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Cairo and was charged with third degree assault, a misdemeano­r. He released with a ticket for Cairo Town Court.

Coxsackie

• Contraband: Dana M. Brighton, 40, of Troy, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:43 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Coxsackie and was charged with felony counts of promoting dangerous contraband in prison and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell; and with

misdemeano­r counts of promoting contraband in prison and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released pending a court appearance.

• Contraband: Claudina S. Charles, 19, of Elmira, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Coxsackie and was charged with promoting contraband in prison and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeano­rs. She was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.

• Drugs: Mark J. Wallace, 35, of Selkirk, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Coxsackie and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. He was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.

Hunter

• DWI: Sara L. Velez, 43, of Tannersvil­le, was arrested by state police at Hunter at 1:07 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, in the town of Hunter and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a bloodalcoh­ol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. She was released with tickets for Hunter Town Court.

Lloyd

• DWI, Fleeing, Endangerin­g: Franklin Avila-Carpio,

23, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:42 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Lloyd. He was charged with aggravated drunken driving with a child in vehicle, a felony, along with misdemeano­r counts of drunken driving, fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, endangerin­g the welfare of a child and driving while intoxicate­d by alcohol or drugs. He was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

New Windsor

• Theft: Michael J. Barilla, 46, of New Paltz, was arrested by town of New Windsor Police on Friday, Aug. 28, and was charged with grand larceny, a felony, along with two counts of petit larceny, both misdemeano­rs. He is alleged to have stolen property out of parked cars along Riley and Moore’s Hill roads between Aug. 11 and Aug. 21. All of the vehicles were unlocked and parked in driveways outside of houses when the thefts occurred. He was released with tickets for Town of New Windsor Criminal Court.

Red Hook

• DWI: Scott E. Dockstader, 54, of Red Hook, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 5:28 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Red Hook and was charged with drunken driving. He was released pending a court appearance.

Rhinebeck

• DWI: Michael L. Hyman, 45, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Rhinebeck and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets for Rhinebeck Town Court.

Town of Rochester

• Menacing, weapon: Jason R. O’Donnell, 36, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Rochester and was charged with menacing with a weapon and criminal possession of weapon with intent to use, both misdemeano­rs. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Wawarsing

• Drugs: Sonya J. Hull, 40, of High Point, North Carolina, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 10:25 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the town of Wawarsing and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. She was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
