Lloyd
• DWI: Latoya Alvarez-Thomas, 21, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on River Road by state police at Highland at 8:34 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Alvarez-Thomas was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
Red Hook
• DWI: Edwin Linares, 38, of Framingham, Mass. was arrested by Red Hook police on West Market Street in the village of Red Hook at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, and was charged with two counts of drunken driving, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.
Saugerties
• Drugs: An 18-year-old Saugerties male was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, and was charged with two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. Further information, including the location of the arrest, was unavailable. State police do not release the names of defendants under the age of 19.
Town of Ulster
• Unlicensed driving: Chris L. Serrano, 62, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:04 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, on Miron Lane and was charged with aggravated unlicensed driving (alcohol), a felony, and with circumventing a court-ordered ignition interlock device, a misdemeanor. Serrano was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
• DWI: Kyle W. Welch, 30, of Hurley, was arrested by state police at Ulster at
4:12 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, on state Route 32, and was charged with felony drunken driving (previous conviction within 10 years) and the misdemeanor of driving with a suspended registration. Further information was unavailable.
