KENNETH F. DETHOMAS
MT. MARION- Kenneth F. deThomas died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020 at home. He was 86 years old. Born April 11, 1934 in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Ralph deThomas and the late Carol Ann Rokohl. His wife Mary Jane LoCicero deThomas died in 1991. A veteran of the Korean War, Ken served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 until 1953. Formerly employed by General Stenciling in Brooklyn, he retired from Benedictine Hospital where he worked in the Engineering and Maintenance Department. An avid Yankee and Ranger fan, he enjoyed cooking, shing, and hunting. Survivors include ve children, Christopher of Florida, Craig of Chelsea, N.Y.C., and Kurt, Jodi and Shawn and his wife Brittany Lattanzio-deThomas of Mount Marion; six grandchildren: Raymond, Phylicia, Xavier, Sidney, Gabby and Mason; a great-granddaughter, Ellie; and his sister, Mari-Anna deThomas Tweed of Long Island. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, Jonathan and Ralph. Cremation was private and interment with full military honors will take place in Saratoga National Cemetery in the Spring.
